Bob brings his 39 years of manufacturing experience to the FSO Institute as CEO.
As a member of the OpX Leadership Network Executive Council since its formation, Bob has been integral in best practice development, adoption and advocacy within his previous employers, serving in leadership roles in engineering, operations and executive management.
During his tenure at Pfizer (10 years), and GE (17 years), Bob was instrumental in leading the implementation and adoption of automated systems that drove lean processes using an engaged workforce with proven results; such as fastest time to a validation plant, and most flexible pilot site in the network.
Bob began his career with General Motors in 1985, using Deming methodologies to ensure highly automated systems developing the first Robotic full body assembly line. He has moved from Automotive to Chemical to Life sciences and CPG gaining a wide exposure to develop process expertise, lean principles, Six Sigma (Black Belt), work systems, process reliability and TPM systems.
Bob is a 1985 Graduate of the University of Massachusetts with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, and a Master’s degree in Communication Systems. Licensed P.E. since 1994.
